| I have dedicated this Website to the memory of my former Partner,the
late Chris Orr who sadly died in 1996. He was a Great Champion of
Western Australian Wines and had the Forsight to see the potential
of these wines nearly 16 years ago.
I first met Chris in Singapore in December,1987, he was on a
trade mission and I was enjoying a private visit with friends
in Malaysia over the Christmas period.
Chris introduced me to Australian wines for the first time and
they were relatively Unknown then in the U.K.
Of course the situation today is quite different, Australian
Wines enjoy a market share of around 21% in the U.K. and still
growing.
One thing has not changed though the Premium Wines of Western
Australia are a niche market for the deserning drinkers and I
aim to promote these products through my WebSite to the wider
public.
